Photos and such..

Can you tell I felted her twice? Maybe I did it wrong..
Bucket cast on..
I don't think I join in the round properly.. I just go ahead and knit.. I think I need to use another method so the bottom round isn't un-even.

Wow, the bag looks perfect! Especially that zipper. You did a much better job than I did. Congrats!
Good luck with the bucket hat! Maybe when joining you can knit the last and the first stitch of the round together to make a smoother join.

your to nice, lol I don't really like the bag. I wish my sides where like yours (no pooch) and I wish it felted better and the bottom seems silly as it is not stable and the garter looks odd on the sides when it shows!

Whenever I knit in the round, I use a two-tail cast-on. Then I join, making sure that the wavy line is facing me. That's going to be the RS. Knit the first stitches of the round very tightly so that the join is neat.
